Dewey the dog and Sketch, his pencil friend, will soon be appearing on Comcast On Demand in King County Library System's new Ready To Read Program, as well as on King County Library Cards and in a promotional campaign including bus ads and billboards. These puppets were designed by Elizabeth Luce and built by Snapdragon Video Productions, and the program promotes early reading and literacy skills. Roger Mara animates the Dewey character and Sketch is manipulated and voiced by puppeteer Annett Mateo.
