Cleo is the mother character from the PBS show Between the Lions. She has been performed by Jennifer Barnhart throughout the show. Cleo is married to Theo, and has two children - Lionel and Leona.

She acts as narrator during Albrecht Roser puppet segments and Hugo and Ines's otherwise wordless Teatro segments, as chef and recipe reader during her and Theo's What's Cooking? segments, and occasionally performs music as Tammy Lionette (a play on the name of country singer Tammy Wynette).
