Sam the Eagle

Sam the Eagle is a character from Jim Henson's Muppets. His favorite things are justice and America, and he is the most patriotic Muppet.
He was first performed by Frank Oz (1976-1999) and is currently performed by Eric Jacobson (2005-present). Drew Massey preformed this character when he appeared on the website show Statler & Waldorf: From the Balcony.
In The Muppet Christmas Carol he played the headmaster. In Muppet Treasure Island, he was Samuel Arrow. On Muppets Tonight he hosted "The Eagle's Nest." In The Great Muppet Caper he was a boarder at the Happiness Hotel. In The Muppets' Wizard of Oz he was one of the Wizard's guards. He appeared on Pepe Profiles and The Animal Show as a special guest.
